Dry Lining

Dry Lining Contractors

Rendafacade provides professional dry lining and plasterboard installation for homeowners, housebuilders and commercial contractors. Our work includes internal wall linings, metal stud partitions, suspended ceilings and specialist boarding.

With over 30 years' experience in plastering and rendering, we work across Essex, London, Kent, Suffolk and the surrounding counties — from individual extensions to larger interior fit-out and refurbishment projects.

Service 01

Dot & dab plasterboard linings

Dot-and-dab dry lining provides a flat internal wall surface by bonding plasterboard to suitable masonry with a specified plasterboard adhesive. It's widely used on new-build homes, extensions and refurbishment projects.

We assess the background, wall condition, required alignment and services before installation. Board type, adhesive application, fixings where required and perimeter detailing follow the relevant system specification.

Service 02

Metal stud partitions

Lightweight metal stud partitions create practical internal room divisions in residential, commercial and fit-out projects. Framing and plasterboard are selected to suit the proposed layout and performance requirements.

Where a project calls for acoustic separation, fire resistance or additional strength, the whole partition build-up — studs, board layers, insulation, fixings and junction details — must follow a suitable tested and specified system.

Service 03

Suspended & MF ceilings

Metal furring (MF) and other specified suspended ceiling systems can create a clean, level surface while allowing space for services above. They are suitable for many new-build, refurbishment and commercial interiors.

We work to the required ceiling height, layout and board specification, coordinating access panels, lighting and service openings with the wider project. Hanger supports, framing and fire or acoustic details are established before work begins.

Service 04

Specialist boards & finishing

Different rooms and uses require different plasterboard types. Depending on the specification, this may include moisture-resistant, acoustic, fire-performance or impact-resistant boards and compatible finishing systems.

We provide neat board installation with the specified joint treatment, ready for either tape-and-joint finishing or a plaster skim where required. Final decorating is undertaken only when the chosen finish has dried sufficiently.

Planning the installation

The right board and system for each area

Before work starts, we review the project drawings, existing background, board specification, set-out and any relevant fire, acoustic or moisture requirements. Correct installation depends on using the specified complete system, not simply choosing a board by its colour.

Need a smooth plaster finish over the completed boarding? Our Internal Plastering service covers skimming and finishing. You can also explore an indicative project cost or request a quotation.
